Booking & Refund Terms
These terms apply to every package and add-on booked on this website. Your contract is with Barbu Media, the business named in the legal notice. Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete. By clicking “I Agree” before payment, you accept these terms.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Payments are processed by SumUp.
- Starter to Showcase: full payment is required before the event to secure your slot and activate priority status.
- Signature: a 50% non-refundable deposit is due before the event; the 50% balance is due on delivery.
- Ultimate Personal Brand: see the section on this package below.
- Priority coverage cannot be applied retroactively to bookings made after the event has started.
If you cancel
Swiss law gives no general right to cancel an online booking, so these rules apply. Cancel in writing by email or WhatsApp. The time we receive your message counts.
- 30 days or more before the event: 75% refund.
- 8 to 29 days before the event: 50% refund.
- 7 days or less before the event, or during or after it: no refund.
- Signature: the deposit is not refunded at any time.
If you cancel at least 8 days before the event, you can choose a credit for the full amount paid instead of a refund (Signature deposits excluded). Credits are valid for 12 months for any event we cover. Withdrawing from the competition, being disqualified or not taking part for any other reason counts as a cancellation by you.
Changing your booking
- You can transfer your booking to another participant at the same event free of charge, up to 48 hours before it starts.
- You can move your booking to another event we cover once, if you ask at least 14 days before the original event. A moved booking can’t be cancelled for a refund.
If the event is postponed or cancelled
If the organiser postpones or cancels the event, or it can’t take place for reasons beyond our control, your booking moves to the new date. If there is no new date, or you can’t attend it, you receive a credit for the full amount paid, valid for 12 months for any event we cover.
If you’d rather have your money back, ask within 30 days of the announcement. We then refund the amount paid, minus costs we had already paid for that event and can’t recover, such as travel, accommodation or accreditation, up to 25% of the price.
If we can’t attend
If illness, accident or travel disruption stops us from attending, we may send a substitute photographer or videographer of comparable standard. If we can’t, you receive a full refund, or a credit if you prefer.
Being there and easy to find
Coverage depends on you being present and recognisable. Before the event, send us a recent photo of yourself, your table number and your categories. If we can’t find you despite reasonable efforts, or you aren’t at your table during your rounds, the booking counts as fulfilled and isn’t refunded.
Coverage and delivery
Coverage takes place at live events and is subject to venue rules, lighting, access and organiser constraints. Specific shots or minimum photo counts are not guaranteed unless stated in your package. Framing, selection, editing and colour grading are our creative decisions and are not grounds for a refund.
Delivery times shown for each package are targets that depend on your position in the booking queue and on conditions at the venue. If we are late, remind us in writing. If we still haven’t delivered within 14 days of your reminder, you can cancel and receive a refund for the part not delivered.
Please download your files promptly. Download links may expire after 30 days, and we can’t guarantee to send files again after that.
If you book after the event, the minimum-appearance rule and refund described in that package apply.
Problems with your files
If files are missing, damaged or show the wrong person, tell us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll fix it by delivering or editing again. If we can’t fix it, you receive a partial refund in proportion to the problem.
Ultimate Personal Brand
This package is offered by invitation only, to clients who have booked photo or video coverage with us before. We may decline any request without giving reasons. Your project starts once you accept our written offer by email or WhatsApp and pay the deposit. By accepting the offer, you accept these terms. The offer sets out the agreed languages and timeline and takes precedence over these terms where they differ. The event rules above (cancellation periods, transfers, coverage and delivery) don’t apply to this package.
- Price and payment: 1,800 CHF all inclusive. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due when you accept, to reserve your production slot. The 50% balance is due before launch. We launch the website and hand over the files once payment is complete.
- Your part: you provide the texts, information, recordings and approvals we ask for, in good time. Delays on your side move the timeline accordingly. If we don’t hear from you for 60 days, we may close the project and charge the work done.
- Revisions: 2 rounds of refinements after your first full preview. Further changes, changes to the concept or structure after approval, and new content after launch are quoted separately.
- If you cancel: you can cancel in writing at any time before launch. The deposit is not refunded, and work already done beyond the value of the deposit is charged.
- Hosting and domain: included free for 12 months from launch. Before that period ends, we tell you the options and cost for continuing. Nothing renews or is charged without your agreement.
- Championship voucher: the package includes one voucher for our Authority package at a future massage championship that you take part in and where we are also part of the programme. It is personal and can be used once. It has no cash value and can’t be exchanged, transferred or refunded. When you use it, the Authority package description and the rules above on being easy to find, coverage and delivery, and problems with your files apply. Your own travel, accommodation and entry fees are not included. If the project is cancelled before launch, the voucher lapses.
- Rights: once paid in full, you may use the website and intro video for your own business without time limit. We keep the copyright in the design, code, visual effects and sound design, and may show the work in our portfolio after launch.
- Your content: you must have the right to use any material you provide, such as texts, logos, music or photos by others. You are responsible for the accuracy of what the website says about you, including your qualifications, titles, awards and prices.
Refunds and payment disputes
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 30 days. When you cancel, payment processing fees are not refunded. Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer. If a payment is reversed, your booking counts as cancelled by you, and we may hold back delivery until the matter is settled.
Liability
Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the price of your package. We are not liable for indirect costs such as travel, accommodation, entry fees or styling.
Your statutory rights and applicable law
These terms don’t limit any rights you have under mandatory law, including consumer protection law in your country of residence. Swiss law applies. The courts at our business address have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law lets you bring a claim where you live. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website or book a package. The controller is the business named in the legal notice.
Visiting this website
When you load a page, our technical service provider processes data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, so the site can be delivered and kept secure.
The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page sends no data to other providers.
Language preference
When you choose a language, it is saved in your browser's local storage (ic_lang) so the site opens in that language next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.
Bookings and payments
When you book, you are taken to SumUp's payment page. SumUp processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the order details you enter, such as your name, email address and order notes (for example your table number and category), and use them only to deliver your booking.
Contacting us
If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, including sending a photo so we can recognise you at the event, we use that information only to handle your enquiry and booking. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and subject to its own privacy terms.
Personal websites
For an Ultimate Personal Brand project, we use the information and material you give us, such as your story, photos, videos, voice recordings and texts, to build your website. What you approve for publication becomes public on your website. Material not used on the site is deleted on request once the project is complete.
Social media links
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Threads take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply. No data is shared with them just by visiting this website.
Service providers and transfers abroad
We use service providers to deliver this website, process payments (SumUp) and handle messages (WhatsApp). Some of them process data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the USA. Transfers to countries without adequate data protection rely on recognised safeguards, such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Booking and contact data is kept for as long as needed to deliver your package and answer follow-up questions. Accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss law.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. Write to contact@iconstantine.ch. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
